The Foundation Behind What We're Building Today.
In 2014, Cindy “RODEO” Steedle & Jeff Beal created an event called Taste of Speed — The Jetport Experience.
It was hosted inside a private airplane hangar at Peachtree DeKalb Airport in Atlanta.
More than 2,500 guests attended—bringing together car enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and luxury brands in a setting that, at the time, felt entirely unique.
Over the next few years, we expanded it – 2015 then again in 2016.
More brands. More people. More momentum.
On the surface, it was a success.
But what made it valuable had very little to do with the size of the event.
What mattered most was who was in the room.
And over time, something unexpected happened.
The real value wasn’t the event itself.
It was the relationships that formed because of it.
That was the realization.
The most valuable opportunities don’t happen publicly.
They happen in: • private conversations • curated environments • trusted circles.
And that’s what led to Cars & Capital!
